The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) serves adults age 60 and older who meet specific income guidelines. Once enrolled in the program, participants receive a 30lb box of shelf stable grocery items and box of cheese each month. Those interested in applying for the program attend a distribution and complete an application, which will be valid for three years. Anyone interested in participating but unable to attend a distribution can designate a proxy to pick-up on their behalf.
For CSFP services, individuals must be at least 60 and provide an ID with proof of age in order to enroll in the program. No proof of income is required. Delivery only available at select sites, contact the Central Texas Food Bank to apply for sites offering home delivery. It is recommended participants bring a cart or something to help transport the box. For questions, call CTFB at (855) 366-3401.
